Paraffle ~ Scottish archaic:  1/ embroidery 2/an ostentatious display

Paraffle was founded by Sammy Bishop whilst studying for a PhD, after she discovered embroidery as a way of getting a creative outlet and finding peace of mind. Inspired by this she threw her energy into creating and growing an embroidery business, which she runs from her studio in Edinburgh. Her kits are suitable for beginners and are a great introduction to simple embroidery stitches with fun designs inspired by the natural world using bright colour combinations. Each kit contains the following: embroidery hoop, needle, stitch guide, fabric and felt, thread and a pre-printed pattern transfer. Also included is a step-by-step guide with photos!

All kits are made in Scotland, using organic and ethically sourced fabric and all packaging and printing is from sustainable sources.
