RSN Exclusive 17th Century Inspired Court Shoe Panel by Deborah Wilding

£108.00

NEW IN

RSN EXCLUSIVE

This design is a combination of Silk Shading and the application of metal threads, and is based on a heavily decorated 17th Century court shoe in the collection of the Fashion Museum in Bath.

The design includes both embroidered flowers and Goldwork on the shoe. The techniques covered will include the use of metal plate, chips and couched thread to create the pattern which is decorated with silk shaded flowers and leaves.

Your kit comes with everything you need to complete the design but you will also need sharp embroidery scissors and an 8 inch embroidery hoop.

At the moment the Fashion Museum is temporarily closed. The new home will be located right in the heart of Bath, at the Old Post Office. This gives the city a unique opportunity to create one of the world’s great museums of fashion! It will be more accessible, engage with a wider range of people and tell a greater range of stories than ever before.
