ONL24275 A Christmas Wreath NEW
£151.00
Create your own festive masterpiece.
In this beginner’s day class you will create a wonderful Christmas wreath which can be used as tree bauble in the 3” display hoop supplied in your kit. Drawing inspiration from traditional Christmas foliage, this design allows you to stitch a modern style wreath.
You will learn Closed Fly stitch to create the Yew leaves; Back stitch lines for the Mistletoe branches; Bullion Knot Mistletoe leaves and French knot Berries (Red for Yew, White for Mistletoe).
All stitches will be worked using one or two strands of DMC (stranded cotton/Floss) working with a size 10 needle.
There will also be a demonstration on how to stitch felt to the back of the hoop for a perfect display finish ensuring that your wreath will be the perfect addition to your festive décor.
You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need. The only things you’ll need to supply are a 6" hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes, and if you usually benefit from a magnifying glass, make sure you have it available. If you already have a versaile clamp you could work the piece in the 3" hoop supplied in your kit.
You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
