ONL25261 Pattern Darning: ‘Colour Band Sampler’

In Pattern Darning the emphasis is on decorating your fabric rather than mending it and by weaving the threads under and over the fabric threads it is possible to create simple but effective geometric patterns. In this online class you will explore the principles behind darning patterns whilst playing with colourful shading. The class covers tints, tones, shades and hues and includes around fifty colours in this design to work with.
The overall design measures approximately 8 inches in height and will comfortably fit within a 10 inch hoop.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need. The only additional items required are a 10” hoop, a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
