Always wanted to try Goldwork? Try this introduction class with a classic William Morris inspired design, taken from a stained glass panel on display at the William Morris Gallery. You will learn Couching and Cutwork techniques as well as applying Pearl Purl, Twist and Spangles.
The kit will include needles, fabric, polyester threads, gold threads, spangles and beeswax plus full instructions for you to complete the embroidery at home
Suitable for complete beginners to embroidery or beginners to the technique as the tuition will take you through each step clearly. There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.
The class kit will be posted out to you and contains all the materials necessary. The only additional items you’ll need are an 8" hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.

The kit is manufactured by the Royal School of Needlework and includes 1 printed piece of linen twill, 1 pack of chenille no. 24 needles, 1 pack of Embroidery A Broder size 5 needles, 36 Skeins of Appleton Crewel wool, basic framing up kit and instructions with diagrams.
Warning: Not suitable for small children, kit contains sharp objects.
