Create your own contemporary botanical motif while exploring a range of goldwork techniques. Working with purls, French knots and embellishments, you will learn how to build texture, depth and contrast within your embroidery.
Throughout the class, you will use metal threads to create areas of light and shadow, giving the design a sense of depth and movement. The piece will be finished with carefully applied pearls to create a dew drop effect and add the final details to the design.
All materials required to complete the project will be provided.
