Join RSN Tutor Pippa Foulds to embroider this charming small soldier inspired by the Nutcracker ballet. This is the perfect introduction to Tapestry Shading, the traditional technique used by the RSN for figures, demonstrating how some simple shading can create a pleasing 3D effect. The addition of Goldwork techniques, along with Applique are used to great effect to embellish and complete this charming soldier.
The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
