Learn how to create beautifully embroidered lettering on your own photographs which have been printed onto fabric. During this one day class you will learn two methods of creating text; back stitch filling and trailing stitch, each on its own photograph printed with the text of your choice. This classis the perfect way to treasure a special occasion, that wonderful person or pet in your life, to remember the holiday of a lifetime or simply to wish someone Happy Birthday!
In preparation for the class you will need to provide your two chosen photographs, along with the text you would like to embroider so that these can be printed on to cotton twill fabric and made up into your bespoke embroidery kits. These will include full instruction booklets, needles, 6 inch embroidery hoops and a choice of embroidery thread colours. When selecting a photo it is worth remembering that this will be cropped to a circle so ideally the subject should be as close to the centre as possible. Cropping your photo to a square first can help with this. For optimal results, the photograph will need to be of high quality for printing onto fabric. Suitable for all skill levels.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
