For this project the tutor has used her favourite surface embroidery stitches of Fly Stitch, Stem Stitch, French Knot, Satin Stitch and Split Stitch. These are worked in miniature scale on a subtle sparkly fabric using a combination of 5 different threads (sparkly and matt) and glass beads to create this statement Festive brooch. The kit contains all you will need to make the brooch including fabric, threads, beads, brooch fitting and needles.
The finished brooch measures 50mm in diameter.
You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
This class would be suitable for all/mixed skill levels.
