View map
£295.00
Develop your goldwork skills while creating this dragonfly design. Inspired by one of nature’s most recognisable insects, this project provides an opportunity to explore a range of traditional goldwork techniques while creating a detailed embroidered piece.
Throughout the class, you will learn cut work, soft string padding, chipping and pearl purl application, alongside other goldwork techniques. You will explore how padding and metal threads can be used to create texture, relief and dimension, bringing the dragonfly to life through stitch.
All materials required to complete the design will be provided.
Please note this is an in-person class at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU.
