This is the second design inspired by Hampton Court Palace. By stitching the beautiful Golden Pear Gate by the main entrance, you’ll master various fundamental goldwork techniques. Transforming intricate metalwork into delicate embroidery, you’ll create voluminous pears and leaves on high-quality linen, capturing the essence of the Hampton Court experience.
In this design, you will learn how to apply felt padding for goldwork kid leather and master techniques such as pearl purl, chipping, couching, and padded Satin Stitch. You’ll also discover the fundamental and beautiful stitches of goldwork, enjoying a variety of filling methods using different techniques.
