Designed by  Anil Farzaneh, the winner of the 2022 Royal School of Needlework and Appletons Competition.

This beautiful creation is 35cm in diameter when stitched and makes a great cushion or wall hanging. Crewel wool, printed British linen twill and QR code leading to an instruction video is included.

If you wish to make a cushion other materials will be needed.

Originally from Iran, Royal School of Needlework graduate, Anil has settled and works in the Netherlands, and she created a beautiful mandala for her winning entry. In Farzaneh’s own words: “It all started when I began sewing clothes for my dolls as a child and then I continued with different media including stained glass. Later on I started focussing on needlework and embroidery and this is one of my more traditional creations. Thank you so much for honoring me!”.
