The class will run from 6pm – 9pm on the following dates:
Saturday 9, 16, 23 ,30 September 2023
For the Rest of the World bookings will close on 5 August to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.
For UK and Europe bookings will close on 24 September to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.
This class does not have a set design, instead we are going to explore what makes a good shaded Blackwork and Goldwork design before creating our own individual piece.
Once a design outline has been created we are going to create our stitch plans indicating where Blackwork is to be included, the patterns to be worked and the thread thicknesses to embroider with.
We will also plan how to include Goldwork before exploring the basic techniques of couching, Pearl Purl, chipping and spangles.
Your Zoom link will be sent a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class and will be sent to the email address you booked the class with. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail to see if it is there and if you still do not have it then please email [email protected]
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need. The only things you’ll need are a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
