Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's iconic and mesmerising painting Starry Night with its view over over the Rhone, This beautiful hand embroidered blue Christmas tree will be a unique Christmas gift for you or to give to a loved one.
This class will guide you through how to plan and stitch to achieve the effects of the light using the Silk Shading technique.
During the class, you will learn how to choose and coordinate the colours inspired by the painting, and learn how to plan and position your stitches correctly.
There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need including a wooden hoop. The only things you’ll need are a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
