In this online class make your own little Gingerbread house that’s almost good enough to eat! Made with sumptuous shiny metal threads in copper and silver, finished off with beads and silver spangles.
Learn Metalwork stitches including Couching, Cutwork, and Pearl Purl edgings and discover finishing methods to make your embroidery into a brooch or decorative hanging for the festive period.
You will be guided step by step through this project with clear video demonstrations and screen shared images, supported by an illustrated instruction booklet that comes with your Gingerbread kit. In addition, a specific WhatsApp group will be set up to enable the sharing of work in progress images and for the tutor to give instant feedback during the class.
The finished embroidery measures approximately 5x4cm.
There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need including a full colour, step by step instruction booklet. The only things you’ll need are an ?” ring frame and embroidery scissors. .It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
