The outside of the box is covered in an Eau de Nil coloured cotton, with an embroidered monogram on the lid (you will be able to choose your letter) and Appliqué Nottingham Lace around the top edge. The inside of the box is covered in a macaron print fabric, hinting at what you might find inside.

The course is split into three, three hour long sessions, during which you will learn all of the techniques required to construct and embroider your box, including: Trailing, Feathered Chain Stitch, how to accurately cut and measure card for box making, two methods for covering card, and how to stitch together your box pieces.

The class kit includes all the materials you will need to make the box as well as a box making equipment pack that includes what you will need to be able to cut your card to construct the box.

In addition to the kit, you will need a 6” embroidery hoop, embroidery scissors and scissors suitable for cutting fabric.
