Join RSN Tutor, Helen Stevens, to stitch this beautiful Goldwork Stork motif
This stunning stork design will be worked in Goldwork using a variety of metallic threads including passing, tambour thread, purl pearl and some cut work stitches. This class is suitable for those new to the technique and for more experienced embroiderers.
Helen says she adapted the image of the stork from a medieval document.
It pays homage to the many ships of the Royal Navy that took part in Operation Neptune which included HMS Stork.
The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
No experience is necessary for this class and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.
You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
