The class will run from 7pm – 9pm on the following dates:
Thursday 12 & 19 October

For the Rest of the World bookings will close on 14 September to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.

For UK and Europe bookings will close on 21 September to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.

Please note that the cost includes the necessary kit and tracked postage.

Inspired by the colours of autumn, this traditional Jacobean leaf is a great introduction to Jacobean Crewelwork embroidery. Suitable for beginners, this stylish design is created using only a few surface stitches including Chain, Buttonhole and Fly Stitch topped off with French Knots. Not only will you be guided through each of the stitches, but you will also be taught some simple yet effective variations including Closed and Open Fly and Buttonhole Stitch.

This leaf is the first in a series of kits, each designed to introduce you to a different embroidery technique.

No prior experience is necessary for this class and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.

The kit will include all the materials required. However, for the class you will also need a 6” embroidery hoop and a pair of scissors.

The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need. The only things you’ll need are a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.

You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
